Track Fitness Goals Successfully

What does success mean to you? Setting and accomplishing long and short-term goals is one common way people find success and take their lives further. Part of accomplishing these goals is tracking your mini achievements along the way to help build confidence in your final product. Everyone’s journey to success is different, but what matters is sticking to your goals and working on doing your best. Read on for some helpful tips and tricks to stay on top of your fitness journey and crush your goals!
The first step to tracking your fitness goals is making sure that you consistently log your workouts. Logging your workout includes recording your exercises, sets/reps, amount of weight used, time during a cardio sesh, etc. Be sure to invest in a measuring tape to take measurements of your bi-ceps, waist, thighs, calves, and more! This can help you notice any uneven spots as well as serve as a great way to see how much you gain or lose in certain areas. One way to log your fitness journey is through the use of a personal fitness tracking app, or by simply using the notes section in your phone. If you’re old school and prefer a physical copy, get yourself a notebook and start a ‘Personal Fitness Journey’ journal.
Make a Gym Friend
If you ever need a little extra reassurance in your routine, buddy up! Find a workout buddy, virtually or in real life, who has similar goals and motivations as you. This person can be someone you build a mutual beneficial relationship, as you can both learn and grow together. Having a gym buddy will help with accountability, motivation, overcoming obstacles, and setting future goals; not to mention, this is a great way to make a true friend who wants to be at their best with you!
